#Stories about Cancer (2021) is a Czech publication written by Nina Formánek Jaganjacová (the founder of Sifty EU, an organisation promoting preventive health education against medical disinformation) which functions as an instructive and supportive manual for anyone who finds thesmelves a cancer patient or in the position of taking care of one. The handbook takes the reader through the long and painful process of the illness, combining practical advice with authentic stories from those who have had to undergo the difficult treatment themselves.
My role was the graphic designer and illustrator of the entire book, as well as creating a large set of original medical iconography. The book was published by Nina Formánek Jaganjacová in September 2021 in Prague and is now available on Kosmas, the largest online book distributor in the Czech Republic.
