In Progress 2021 is an annual publication of the MA Graphic Communication programme at Central Saint Martins. I was selected to be part of the team that has curated, edited and designed the course’s last year edition which gathers the works in progress of the final year students.
The concept behind the design of the publication revolves around the transformation the global pandemic imposed on programme delivery in art schools and how students had to adjust their practices according to the circumstances.The layout reflects this shift from the traditional to the virtual educational environment, with the font and images becoming more pixelated and digitized as the publication progresses.
In Progress 2021 was Riso printed in Blue on the 100% Recycled Evercopy Plus 80gsm paper by PageMasters.
